We've talked about it all year and on Friday it finally opened. Bowling Green's first roundabout is up and running on 31-W.
Many drivers have appeared to adjust to the transition and are seeing good benefits with it.
"Slows traffic down for one, and also you get to notice the beautiful surroundings." said Sue Coleman, from Sarasota, Florida who was visiting family in Bowling Green.
"Traffic is moving pretty fluently, it's good. Take it with caution, you know, there's no traffic lights, so proceed with caution." said Mike Hannon, who has driven through the roundabout.
Traffic has been calm for the most part at the roundabout, but things could get more hectic starting next week when incoming freshmen will arrive on campus at WKU for Master Plan.
