HAZARD, Ky. (AP) -- An eastern Kentucky woman has pleaded not guilty to charges including murder that stem from a crash over the summer.
Media report 30-year-old Billie Caudill entered the plea Wednesday during her arraignment in Perry County. She was indicted Friday on three counts of murder and one count of driving under the influence.
Authorities say the crash near the Perry-Breathitt county line on July 3 killed her husband, Danny Caudill, and a couple in another vehicle, William and Lillie Belcher. Police have said Billie Caudill crossed the center line on the roadway and hit the other vehicle head-on.
She is being held at the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
