Eastern Kentucky University officials have suspended the club rugby team after hazing allegations.
Associate Vice President of Student Affairs Mike Reagle told WKYT the suspension means more than not playing games. The team cannot meet, practice, have parties or do anything together as a group. Reagle said the prohibition is for the safety of team members.
The suspension came on Tuesday after officials received reports of hazing. It will remain in effect while officials investigate the allegations.
EKU officials said the investigation could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
