Easter Pageant Benefits Simpson County 4-H Club

Proud parents showed off their little ones at an Easter-themed pageant Sunday afternoon.

The 3rd Annual Easter Pageant was held in Franklin to let kids show off their Easter-wear.

The Pageant benefits the Simpson County 4-H Exchange Club.

Students in the exchange club are able to go to other states to get to get a better understanding of agriculture outside of Kentucky.

"It's just a really nice way for the children to get to see other cultures, other livestock, opportunities, that maybe we don't have in this area or we can't conduct in this area because of our climate and things like that," says pageant coordinator Tonda Humpfeld.

Kids ages 0-8 were allowed to participate in the pageant.
