Thousands of people came out to celebrate Easter early at Bowling Green Ballpark Saturday.

Crossland Community Church teamed up with the Bowling Green Hot Rods, Broadway United Methodist Church, and WAY FM to hold a big Easter Egg Hunt.

More than 50,000 eggs were given out through out the day.

Kids also got to meet the Easter Bunny.

"I really enjoyed meeting the Easter Bunny, it was so much fun," says 5-year-old Breanna Sona.

"I'm having a lot of fun at the Easter Egg Hunt today," says 5-year-old Lila Britt.

"We have two little ones, here who like to celebrate Easter Egg Hunts and it seemed like a pretty good family thing to do," says Matt Britt, Lila's dad.

This is the second year the Easter Egg Hunt has been held at the ballpark.
