STOPOVER, Ky. (AP) -- The U.S. Postal Service says a post office in eastern Kentucky has been destroyed by fire.
The fire happened early Friday in Stopover, Ky., in Pike County. The Postal Service says officials were still trying to determine the cause.
Post Office Operations Manager Bryiant Clevenger says it's a loss to the community.
Post office box mail will have to be picked up at the Phelps Post Office, but other services are available at a Village Post Office that opened in Stopover on Thursday, Clevenger said.
