Elizabethtown Man Leads Troopers On Pursuit

On Sunday, March 3 at approximately 6:30 p.m. ET Kentucky State Police made a traffic stop on KY 3005 in Elizabethtown.

While talking to the suspect, troopers say Michael D. Lamb, 28, sped away.

KPS says a pursuit ensued when Lamb refused to stop for troopers. The pursuit went southbound on U.S. 31W where Lamb drove through several yards where he eventually stopped and fled on foot.

Troopers say they caught Lamb in a garage. He refused to comply with commands and was tazed.

Lamb is in the Hardin County Detention Center.

He was charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Trafficking in Marijuana, Resisting Arrest, and numerous traffic offenses.

An occupant in Lamb’s vehicle was also arrested. Jonathan Tracy was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana and Resisting Arrest.
