Three years after a 3-year-old suffers a fall from a Bowling Green hotel, a family gets a settlement.
Allen Butrum, who is now 7 years old, was awarded just over $283,000 in court.
In 2008, Butrum and his family were staying at the Ramada Inn of Bowling Green, when he fell out of a second-story window.
The court determined that the Ramada Inn did not equip the window with the proper locks as prescribed by the corporation.
The window should have had locks that only allowed the window to open eight inches.
