"When you pray for a miracle, you don't always get the miracle actually prayed for, but a miracle did occur because eight people will live because of Brandon," said step mother Dawn Bradshaw.

This past Saturday, the Bradshaw family lost a son, father, brother and husband after he died following an officer involved shooting in Bowling Green.

With more questions than answers, this family has turned to each other for support. As they grieve, they remember the life of Brandon Bradshaw.

"I used to complain about him not being home all the time. Now that I think about it, he impacted so many peoples lives," said Bradshaw's mother Jennifer Epley.

An active part of the the community, Brandon touched the lives of so many. He leaves a mark that will not be forgotten.

"I just met all these great people Brandon introduced me to," said brother Tyler Bradshaw.

"We need to be more like him. We need to have the love of God," said sister Laura Bradshaw.

Saturday's march and vigil showed just how many people he touched.

"It was incredible. It just brought tears to my eyes seeing all the people out there," said sister Amanda Winn.

"People all over the world know this, so Brandon... there you go buddy," said stepmother Kandy Carlton.

The family says though two of his young sons may not remember him, but they will make sure they know him.

"I want them to know who there dad is. To me, what I'm going to do next is let them know," said sister Hannah Bradshaw.

Although he lost his own, his family says he saved lives as an organ donor.

"When you pray for a miracle, you don't always get the miracle actually prayed for, but a miracle did occur because eight people will live because of Brandon," said step mother Dawn Bradshaw.

His family says the journey through tragedy has not been easy, but much like a winding road.

"We're going to stay on the interstate positive, and you see these signs saying "anger," but we're not getting off there, because that road is going to lead us where we don't want to go. We're going to pray for the Brown family and what they're going through, and pray for the recipients of Brandon's organs because we want them to live. We want Brandon to live, and we want our community to heal," said father Troy Bradshaw.

There will be a Celebration of Life memorial service at SkyPAC this Thursday at 4:30p.m. and a funeral service at Living Hope Baptist Church at 10a.m. Saturday. Both will be open to the public. There will also be visitation at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Ln. Chapel from 2 to 8p.m. Friday, and from 9 to 9:45a.m. Saturday at Living Hope Baptist Church.

And those who wish to help the family can still donate to the Brandon Bradshaw Fund at any PNC Bank branch in Bowling Green. Expressions of sympathy can be made to that fund.

Several locations are also taking donations of certain items for the family.
