Kentucky State Police say winter weather is to blame for a traffic death in eastern Kentucky.
Police say the accident was reported about 8 p.m. on Wednesday night in Whitesburg. A statement says Felecia Ramsey lost control of her vehicle on icy roads and struck another vehicle.
Police say Ramsey died at the scene and the other driver, Martha Ratliff, was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
Snow fell over much of the state beginning on Tuesday night and tapering off on Wednesday.
