UPDATED: Fatal Fire Kills 9 in Muhlenberg County

UPDATED 12:45 PM -- A fund has been set up to help the Watson family of Muhlenberg County, the victims of this morning's fire.

Donations can be made at any Old National Bank to the "Calvary Baptist Church Watson Family Fund."

UPDATED 8:15 AM -- Current reports confirm 11 people, all biologically related, were in the 2 bedroom house. One more has confirmed dead, bringing the count to 6.

Officials are still searching for the remains of others.

Neighbors report that the two flown to Vanderbilt are a father and daughter. Neighbors also report they were very badly burned.

Police currently claim the fire was not suspicious.

UPDATED 7:00 AM -- Kentucky State Police have confirmed a fire claimed the lives of several members of a family.

The fire happened in the 3700 block of Motes Lane in the community of Depoy.

Two people were flown to Vanderbilt Hospital.

Police say 5 people have been confirmed dead at this time. They are still searching for the remains of 4 people.

The call for the fire came in around 2 AM on Thursday.

Police say a father, mother, and 9 children lived in the home.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
