A central Kentucky father has pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder in the death of his infant daughter.
The News-Enterprise reports 21-year-old Barry W. Williams Jr. entered the plea Tuesday in Hardin Circuit Court.
Elizabethtown police charged Williams after his 6-month-old daughter, Aleyah, was taken to the hospital suffering from bleeding on the brain. The girl died Feb. 26 of a severe head injury.
Williams told police he dropped the child while bathing her, and then shook her to make her stop crying and put her to bed.
