SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -- Yesterday's strong storms caused a wreck with a fire truck in Shelby County.
Firefighters were responding to a car that had flipped on I-64 East near Simpsonville yesterday morning when another car crashed into their fire truck.
The two people in the car had to be extracted and were taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Three firefighters were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
It is believed heavy rain was a factor in both accidents.
