With most Fourth of July festivities behind us, some fireworks tents closed today.
One tent manager says, despite the rain, this season was a success. They sold the majority of the fireworks they had left on Saturday and are packing up to leave today.
"Last year there was the drought and this year there was plenty of rain and it didn't seem to hold us up. It got very humid like it is right now, but other than that it went well and we sold better than expected," said TNT Fireworks Tent's Bobby Rose.
Rose says he and another co-worker have been staying with the tent day and night for the past week, and are pleased with the sales but ready to be home.
