A set of pillow shams and copies of the military newspaper Stars and Stripes dating from World War I and World War II are now part of the collection at the Don F. Pratt Museum at Fort Campbell.

The Kentucky New Era reports that Kathy Kozlinski of St. Clair Shores, Mich., donated pillow shams from Camp Claiborne, La., where the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) first activated during World War II.

"The shams came from one of Kozlinski's friends whose father served in World War II.

Kentucky Department of the American Legion Auxiliary President Jane McKnight donated several bound copies of the military newspaper Stars and Stripes, including issues from Feb. 8, 1918, to June 13, 1919, and from Sept. 1, 1944, to Feb. 28, 1945.
