Franklin Gas Station Robbed

 The suspect is described as a possible black male in his early 20s; 5'8" to 5'10" in height; weighing approximately 160 to 180 pounds; and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a purple bandanna over his face, jeans, and athletic shoes.

FRANKLIN, Ky (WBKO) -- On February 19, 2014, Franklin Police say they were dispatched to the Mapco Express Gas Station. The clerk advised that an unidentified black male came into the store and forced his way behind the counter, and stole a small amount of cash.

The Mapco employee sustained minor injuries during the robbery, that did not require medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a possible black male in his early 20s; 5'8" to 5'10" in height; weighing approximately 160 to 180 pounds; and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a purple bandanna over his face, jeans, and athletic shoes.

The investigation is ongoing.
