The freedom sings group presented music that promotes the freedoms of the first amendment Monday night on WKU's campus.
The band presented songs that were controversial for their time, and they were narrated and explained.
The music featured genres such as classic rock, country, and jazz.
"That intersection of free speech and music, music that matters, is what freedom sings is all about," said Gene Policinski, Executive Director of the First Amendment Center.
This was all a part of the First Amendment Center, and the message they seek to promote.
