Gas Prices On The Rise

Updated: Thu 7:13 PM, Aug 09, 2012

Consumers are feeling the pinch at the pump with increased gas prices and they're expected to continue to rise.

Nationally gas prices have climbed 27 cents a gallon in the past month.

The national average now stands at 3 dollars and 66 cents a gallon.

Over the next few days drivers out west could see gas prices go up 25 cents or more.

A string of refinery breakdowns across the country has sent fuel traders into a panic and prices soaring.

Analysts hope gas prices will start to fall as demand trails off into the fall months.
