BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- High schools from all over the state are in Bowling Green for the next few days.

Diddle Arena is hosting the KHSAA Sweet 16 Girls' Basketball Championship starting today through Sunday.

Restaurants in the area, like Mariah's, expect increased business during the time.

One manager says it's an opportunity for out-of-towners to see the variety the city has to offer.

"We see people from all across the state, even all across the nation, come to Bowling Green. I personally think we have a great city and a great downtown, and it's a great thing to get people from across the state and across the nation in to see what we have to offer and what a great city we have," said John Horton, a manager at Mariah's.

Horton says in the past, the teams have stopped by his restaurant most days of the tournament for lunches or to celebrate a win. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
