Football excitement has taken over WKU and the community, and you can still take part in the historic bowl game.

The Hilltopper Athletic Foundation has packages available for students and fans that include tickets, travel and hotel accommodations.

The foundation says the team needs your support in their first FBS bowl game, and they expect a great turnout.

"The response has been tremendous. We've already filled up thirteen buses with our fans and students and band and cheerleaders. We're going to paint the town red in Detroit on December 26th. People are excited. Like I said, it's our first bowl game ever, and if you want to be part of something historic, this is definitely a chance to do that," said WKU Hilltopper Athletic Foundation Director Kyle Chapman.

Chapman says game tickets are free to students, and it's just $50 for transportation and a hotel.

For more information or to purchase a package, go to the Diddle Arena ticket office or call 1-800-5-BIG-RED.
