UPDATE: Body of Missing Man Found in Ohio County

The Ohio County Sheriff's Office says the body of Albert Dockery was found on Wednesday morning.

Police have been searching for him since last Friday, and his body was found in Caney Creek near his house on U.S. Highway 62 E in Horse Branch, KY.

The cause of death is not yet known. Dockery's body has been sent to Madisonville for an autopsy.

The Ohio County Sheriff's Office has issued a Golden Alert for Albert Dockery.

Police say Dockery walked off from his residence on U.S. Highway 62E outside of Horse Branch.

Dockery, aka Birdo, is a 68 year-old white male, approximately 5’8”, 180lbs, gray hair, blue eyes, light-complected, has chipped teeth and tattoos on both arms.

He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a dark brown-checkered shirt with brown slip on shoes on May 1st around 3:30 pm.

Dockery may appear confused and his family believes he is in early stage dementia.

His direction of travel is unknown and he lived near the Ohio/Grayson county line.
