Hundreds gathered in Bowling Green to mark Good Friday.
The Bowling Green - Warren County Ministerial Association hosted a community wide service Friday afternoon. Good Friday marks the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death on the cross at Calvary. Eight pastors from area churches came together as one for the service.
"We do that on Good Friday because that is traditionally for the orthodox church the day to celebrate that particular event. We do it in unity because it is one of the central things that unites us regardless of denomination," says Ruth Morgan from the First Church of the Nazarene.
The community wide service is an annual event.
