In just two days stores will be opening earlier flaunting big discounts and handing out free stuff.
"We are expecting a lot of shoppers, Black Friday is the first official day of holiday shopping," says Greenwood Mall General Manager, Robia Gross.
More than 150 million shoppers are expected to be out this Black Friday and Greenwood Mall is preparing for whatever may happen.
"Every mall entrance will be open at midnight so our shoppers can come in that way," says Gross.
With many stores opening earlier this season like Macy's and Ulta who will open their doors at midnight, the mall is beefing up security.
"We will have additional staff for the biggers crowds so yes we will have extra security," says Gross.
Besides opening stores even earlier Old Navy and J.C Penny's will all be offering free stuff to early birds.
"You just come in at any of our four entrances and we will be passing out snow globes," says Martha Everidge, J.C Penny store manager.
J.C Penny's has some 2 million snow globes to hand out to those who grace their doors first.
"It is an incentive for customers to come in," says Everidge.
Old Navy will be handing out digital cameras to a limited number of shoppers who buy $40 worth of stuff.
The National Retail Federation says those who brave it out in the wee hours of the morning can expect more great deals this year.
"We hope to see everyone here on Black Friday," says Gross.
