HORSE CAVE, Ky. (WBKO) -- Alison Lundergan Grimes continued her jobs bus tour today in south central Kentucky.
She kicked off this afternoon in the WBKO area in Hart County at the Wigwam General Store.
Grimes talked to a crowd there about multiple issues including raising the minimum wage.
Just days before the primary, we asked grimes if she was concerned about this coming Tuesday.
"We're excited about what the May 20th primary will bring, but most importantly some shoe leather that Kentuckians all across this Commonwealth are giving us to run strong to the November general election to make history and elect Kentucky's first female United States Senator," said Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes.
Grimes is widely considered to be the nominee for the democratic party.
The state GOP has criticized this current 50 county bus tour, saying Grimes is abandoning her post as Secretary of State.
Grimes made stops in Barren and Warren counties also.
