BROWNSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -- Democratic United States Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes stopped in south central Kentucky Monday.
Grimes visited Mammoth Cave and also stopped at the Edmonson County library to campaign and talk to supporters.
We caught up with her to talk about her recent rally on student loan debt with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts.
"We don't agree on everything, just like I don't agree with my husband on everything, but when it comes to college affordability and making sure that our students and graduates can obtain degrees instead of debt, we believe Mitch McConnell's failed leadership, his turning his back on making sure our students can re-finance their student loan debt, it's wrong," said Grimes.
Earlier this month, a student loan re-financing bill failed to pass the senate.
The McConnell camp criticized the rally with Warren saying Grimes has fully embraced far left Obama allegiances.
