BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Gordon Ford College of Business at WKU gave students the chance to kick start their careers.
Today, the college held its first job fair in Grise Hall.
The college partnered with organizations from all over the area and invited them to give students the chance to show the skills they've learned, throughout their college career.
Many of the employers have positions that need to be filled.
"When employers come to job fairs they're searching for strong candidates. These students are representing WKU, the Business College, and themselves as professionals. A lot of these students are graduating in May and they are looking for full time employment to show themselves. They've gone to school all this time and they want to be able to show that they are professionals and they're ready to be in the work force," said Adrianne Browning the Professional Development Specialist for the Gordon Ford College of Business.
Business College officials say they hope this job fair becomes an annual event, so they can continue to provide as many opportunities as possible for their students.
