A special groundbreaking ceremony took place in Downtown Bowling Green Friday.

Several elected officials and other community members were in attendance as Hitcents announced they'll be the first company to occupy the commercial wrap being built along College Street and Eight Avenue.

They're also sub-developers for the entire structure that will surround the new parking garage there.

Their office will be on the fourth floor and more than 13,000 square feet long.

"The ceremony of doing the groundbreaking, really makes it feel real and this thing is really going to take off so it's been a great experience for us," says Clinton Mills of Hitcents.

"We just think it's a tremendous opportunity for us to expand our business and to get more space and be part of this downtown community," says Chris Mills of Hitcents.

The commercial wrap will also house apartments and retail stores.

It's costing twenty two million dollars to build.
