We're just a little more than a week a way from the election, and tonight the people of Bowling Green were given a last look at candidates for Bowling Green City Commission.
The Bowling Green Coalition of Active Neighborhoods held a forum tonight, where the candidates for city commission talked about issues in the community, such as job growth and balancing the budget.
Mayor Bruce Wilkerson, who is unopposed, explained why this is a good event.
"I think the goal of having this event is to make sure people know who they're going to get to vote for, and the views that they have. The commission candidates also need to know the issues that are important to those people who are voting," said Wilkerson.
There are eight candidates running and if you would like to see more on where they stand on issues, you can go to our web channel WBKO.com.
