A local gun shop is shutting their doors for the weekend.

Guns 'N More will be closed for the rest of the weekend.

The owner of the shop, Claudius Walker, says he wants to honor the people who died.

He says he supports 2nd Amendment rights, but sometimes the weapons can get into the wrong hands.

Walker says, other times, guns can save lives.

Walker says the tragedy has deeply saddened everyone at the store.

"the kids didn't have a chance for life," he says, "I just think it's something I need to do and I encourage other gun owners this weekend to do the same, if they feel the same as I do about it."

Walker says he will re-open the store on Monday.
