Habitat For Humanity Moves Store To New Location

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - They have been turning old into new for years and now their old store has moved to a brand new location.

The Habitat For Humanity Restore has made the move to Adams Street in Bowling Green. Store management says customers can shop in a larger area, with more items and additional parking spaces. All merchandise is donated and refurbished.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales goes back to Habitat for Humanity to build a better community.

"Net proceeds from the store help us to build about two homes every year. So that's a big deal for us. That's about $90,000 to $100,000 in proceeds we don't have to go out and raise else where," says Executive Director Rodney Goodman.

Habitat is always looking for additional merchandise. Old appliances, furniture and more can now be dropped off at the Adam Street location during regular business hours.
