Hart County Bus Crash Victims File Suit

Updated: Thu 2:42 AM, Jun 14, 2012

Fifty-Five people were on board last Wednesday when the bus apparently took a curve too fast, slid off the road, and rolled over.
In addition to suing the bus company, New Image Travel, Attorney Mike Breen says he is representing three of the victims.
They are also suing the bus driver and the tour company Worldstrides International. The lawsuit alleges that the bus driver, Timothy Saum was recklessly speeding when the bus went off Highway 728 and rolled onto its side last Wednesday. The bus was taking students and parents from Cub Run Elementary School to Washington D.C. when it crashed some 6 miles from the school. The lawsuit also claims the bus driver had driven from Chicago to Cub Run, then intended to drive to Washington D.C., all on the same day.
