Do you have questions about your health?
Well now you can have all of them answered in one place.
You can get a healthy start to 2013 by going to the 16Th annual Health and Wellness Expo tomorrow!
This year it's all about counting your numbers.
"Were really doing a focus on know your numbers so individuals can come get their blood pressure checked, their body fat analysis. We have lung health screenings, Dementia and Alzheimer's screenings,"says Linda Rush, of the Medical Center.
There will be 70 vendors to keep your health in check.
"We are going to be offering free screenings for people who have dizziness to determine if physical therapy can help them, a lot of people don't know therapy can help dizziness,"says Barbara Defebbo, of the Bluegrass Outpatient Center.
It's not just about physical health but mental as well.
"Talking about suicide prevention, and also the warning signs. We've had an upswing in some of our rural areas of suicide pacts. We want parents, and grandparents, and kids to know the risks,"says Joy Ford, of Lifeskills Inc.
Ford says it's important to address taboo topics.
"One of the things Obama and the federal government is trying to bring out is the mental health issues that are going along with all these shootings. We need to bring some of this to the forefront and we need to talk about it,"says Ford.
And you may learn something new.
"A focus on when to call 911 and the parent's will be shown how to do CPR,"says Rush.
The ultimate goal is to keep you healthy.
"We take care of patients when they are acutely ill that's what the hospital is for but the Medical Center also has a real commitment to being able to help people to be as healthy as they can be,"says Rush.
The event is free and open to the public.
The event will be held at the Sloan Convention Center, and you can stop by anytime between 8 a-m and noon.
And they aren't just offering screenings, if you haven't got your flu shot yet, tomorrow may be the time to get it.
The expo is asking you to roll up your sleeve and get the shot if you haven't already.
They will have nearly 500 on hand, and it's first come first serve.
The free shot can be given to those 6 months and older.
