Glasgow Police Sergeant Jessie Barton has been suspended without pay for several weeks now, but that will change beginning July 8th.
The Glasgow City Council unanimously voted to re-instate him to full duty Monday evening beginning next Monday, July 8th.
Council members found Barton guilty of violations of the police department's code of conduct.
This comes from Barton admitting he lied in federal court under oath to a grand jury about a part of the FBI's investigation into Barren County Sheriff Chris Eaton.
Barton was placed on administrative leave without pay in May.
