HINDMAN, Ky. (AP) -- Thieves have stolen baseball equipment from an eastern Kentucky high school's team.
Cordia baseball coach Joe Melton said he arrived Money to find chains cut from a fence and the field house door kicked open.
WYMT-TV (http://bit.ly/LF5yfj ) in Hazard reported thieves ransacked the building, stealing most of the gear, including uniforms and jackets.
Melton said his players spent months raising funds to buy the gear that was stolen.
Almost everything that was stolen has the school's "wishbone C" logo on it and Melton hopes that will help police catch the burglars and make the gear harder for thieves to dispose of.
The Cordia school is part of the Knott County public school system.
