Start your engines!
The largest all LS Automotive event in the country has returned for its third year to Bowling Green.
The Holley LS Fest started this morning and continues through Sunday evening.
The Beech Bend raceway is currently the host of over three hundred skillful drivers and all things LS.
The GM LS engine is the modern day small block V8 that has powered various GM vehicles like the Corvette and Camaro for the last 15 years.
Participants and spectators can expect to see events such as, the Drift Challenge, Autocross, Engine Swap Challenge, and another challenge that promises to test the competitors driving skills.
"One of the other things were having this weekend is the speedstop challenge which is a test of acceleration and de-acceleration and we have the drag-strip marked off at the 8th mile," says Blaine Burnett, Holley Marketing and PR Coordinator.
Drivers will attempt to stop within a "stop box" in the shortest amount of time to be crowned the victor.
Saturday the event will also include live music and food.
Admission is ten dollars
The gates open at 8 AM and close at 6 PM.
