BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Holley Performance Products is creating a new Research and Development facility -- an expansion not only good for them but also for people looking for jobs in our area.
The R and D Department will bring 20 new, high-paying jobs to Bowling Green.
It will design what they're calling "industry leading exhaust systems."
Employees will develop and test new designs and processes while creating methods to decrease production time and make more products.
"This is really going to allow Holley to leap frog into the future, and create some really state-of-the-are systems for new muscle cars and trucks and some of our classic vehicles as well," said Shane Weckerly, the vice president of Product Management and Engineering at Holley.
They're ordering machinery now and say the department will be running by November.
Holley has been in Bowling Green since 1951 and employs more than 250 people.
The new jobs will become available over the next few years.
