The Glasgow Daily Times reports the September 11th vote received 159 out of 297 votes, passing the referendum.
Horse Cave restaurants seating 100 people and making 70% of their sales from food can sell alcohol.
A group started a petition in April for the special election.
A city council member says the vote will help attract restaurants and other businesses to Horse Cave.
