Hundreds of athletes from as far away as Nashville put their bodies to the test in the Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon.
This year was the 7th annual event.
Athletes of all ages swam, biked, and ran the streets of Bowling Green in hopes of taking home the win.
Competitors say it takes hours of training for this event and sometimes it's not enough.
"My weekly schedule I try to get biking in about twenty to forty miles, a couple runs a week for five to six, I was a swimmer my whole life so I probably don't swim as much as I should I try to get in two times for about a thousand, two thousand yards," says Owen Stone.
Money raised at the triathlon goes towards rotary scholarships.
