LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Two flights leaving from Lexington's Blue Grass Airport for the east coast, and one arriving flight have been canceled, as Hurricane Sandy approached the eastern United States.
Airport marketing specialist Louise Bowden told the Lexington Herald-Leader Delta Air Lines flights Monday morning to Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC and LaGuardia Airport in New York were called off because of the storm.
Bowden said a Delta flight scheduled to arrive Monday morning in Lexington from Washington, DC had also been called off. He said no more cancellations were anticipated Monday.
Bowden said those on dropped flights should consult with the airlines about alternatives.
