HORSE CAVE,Ky. (WBKO) -- Hundreds of people woke up with no power after yesterday's wet and cold weather Wednesday morning. This is on 31-W near Caverna Hospital, where the weight of the ice was too much for these power lines.

The ice also closed several streets including 31-W in Horse Cave, where workers had to direct traffic while power and telelphone lines were repaired.

Warren RECC says just over 800 customers were experiencing outages, a majority of them in Grayson and Ohio counties. They say power outages may continue throughout the day due to ice forming on tree limbs and wind. Crews will be working to get the power restored.
