"Idol" Bus Ready to Go For Tomorrow

Updated: Fri 12:18 AM, Aug 17, 2012

The "American Idol" tour arrived in "Fountain Square" just hours ago and is almost ready for auditions in the morning.

Fifteen-year-old, Julia Oliver from Allen County was there to watch the bus roll in.

She told us she wanted to audition in Nashville, but she didn't have the correct registration forms to try-out.

And now fate has stepped in, in what she says is her own backyard, to allow her to follow through on something she's wanted to do for a while.

"All my life, I've wanted to do this. Ever since I've been old enough to understand what american idol was and I never thought i'd get to. I've been singing since I was four years old. I learned how to sing to a movie my grandma used to watch," Julia says.

Several people were in "Fountain Square" to welcome the "Idol" crew, and a warm welcome it was.

On-lookers were screaming and taking pictures as the bus pulled in.
