The Franklin Simpson Farmers' Market will soon be upgrading its venue.
They hope to raise funds to build a pavilion at their current location at North Main St., and they say this season will bring more vendors than ever, bringing in farm raised eggs and meats.
"I didn't really even understand the difference between eating fresh meat from a farmer and buying it at the grocery store, but the taste difference is unbelievable," said Franklin Farmers' Market Association President Pat Drummond.
The Farmers' Market is currently raising funds to build a new pavilion by selling advertisements and recruiting corporate sponsors. They will also be holding several festivals this year.
