The group hosted a cookout on campus today to get things started for the week. The event included international music and a food from all around the world. Welcoming cultures from around the world is what WKU is all about. It's one of the big reasons some students chose the school.
"To bring international students here and even for American students to go abroad. It's always very interesting to get a group of people together and learn each others cultures and customs and stuff." said Amanda Pascoe.
International Reach Week is scheduled to include lectures, art exhibits, workshops, and foreign films.
