Judge Rules USA Harvest Founder Will Face Charges

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) A judge has ruled the founder of a Kentucky charity will face charges for allegedly using money from the organization for personal purchases.

Hugh "Stan" Curtis founded the food charity USA Harvest in 1989 in Louisville.

He is charged with taking more than 180 thousand dollars from the charity plus charging 370-thousand dollars in personal travel expenses.

Curtis' lawyer says he has been in poor health since being charged last year, and they will appeal the judge's decision.
