Juvenile Arrested for Threat at Red Cross Elementary

A Barren County juvenile is arrested, for threatening an elementary school.

Glasgow police say shortly after midnight on Tuesday, they received word of a possible threat of violence against students at Red Cross Elementary.

A collaborative investigation by the Glasgow Police Department, Barren County Deputies and Kentucky State Police, led to the arrest of a juvenile who admitted making the threat, which turned out to be a hoax.

Police say the juvenile has been placed in a detention facility.
