WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) -- Kentucky State Police say a six-year-old boy was shot in what appears to be the eye with an arrow by his neighbor, an 11-year-old girl.
Troopers received the call from Oak Ridge Way in Warren County around 7:36 Saturday night.
KSP says the boy was taken to The Medical Center in Bowling Green before being driven to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville.
"We do have troopers and detectives currently working the scene. We also have troopers and detectives en route to the medical center there at Vanderbilt," says Trooper Jonathan Biven.
Trooper Biven says at this time they believe it was an accidental shooting.
When the boy arrived in Nashville, he was taken into surgery.
