KY Courts Closed Tuesday for Furlough

State workers in the judicial branch will get an extra day off this Labor Day weekend.
State courts will be closed Tuesday, September 4 for the second of three planned furloughs.
The Commonwealth's Court of Appeals, Circuit Courts, District Courts, and Circuit Court Clerk Offices are affected by the furlough, and will be closed Tuesday.
The next furlough is planned for October 15.
The furloughs are part of a $25.2 million budget cut.
