CARLISLE, Ark. (AP) — Authorities say a Kentucky truck driver was killed after his tractor-trailer crashed into another semi parked on the side of the road on Interstate 40 in eastern Arkansas.

Arkansas State Police say the crash happened early Thursday at the 188 mile marker on Interstate 40 in Prairie County. According to a preliminary report, 27-year-old James Davis of Greensburg, Ky., was traveling west when he crashed into the parked tractor-trailer.
