VERSAILLES, Ky. -- A central Kentucky woman died after what an official says appears to be a horse jumping accident.
Woodford County Coroner Ronald Owens says everything points to Christine Brown being thrown from her horse on Wednesday.
Owens says the accident wasn't discovered until hours later when her husband came home to find her horse running loose and Mrs. Brown dead in the ring.
Owens says Brown was wearing a helmet.
A friend of Brown's, Joyce Brinsfield, says Brown once rode for the University of Kentucky equestrian team and loved horses.
