BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Kentucky Heartland Outreach visited Bowling Green today to accept applications for summer home repairs.
This non-profit organization has the ability to repair roofs, decks and wheelchair ramps for low income families. The team is planning to run nearly twenty projects in Warren County and Allen County this summer.
The group met with applicants at Hillvue Heights Church, to review applications and answer questions.
"We get grant money from the state in order to buy materials. We use all volunteer labor so the applicants can have the home repairs absolutely free of charge,” said Ky Heartland Outreach Case Manager, Dana Caudill.
If you are interested in applying, please call (270) 469-4949.
